Canvasmate helps students organize assignments from Canvas. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it.

2. Information We Collect

• Account data: Email, profile metadata, and plan status needed for sign-in and billing.
• Canvas connection data: Canvas domain and encrypted session credentials used to sync assignments.
• Planner data: Assignments, notes, sync events, and preference settings needed to run the product.

3. How We Use Information

• Sync assignments from Canvas and keep your planner updated.
• Operate core features like reminders, filters, and AI flows.
• Improve reliability and product quality through diagnostics.

4. Security

Canvas session values are encrypted at rest and transmitted over HTTPS. We do not ask for or store your Canvas password directly.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

You can export your data or delete your account from the account page. Deleting your account removes planner data stored by Canvasmate.
